Spencer our TEN year old, he sure loves the color GREEN :)

Spencer is in the DOUBLE DIGITS. He is TEN now! We picked up his glasses the evening before his birthday, he looks so studious now. Bad eye sight unfortunately runs in our family, Bre, Jarom and I wear contacts and Matt has had lasik. (So far Ellie is the only one who lucked out in the bad eye sight dept, it generally shows up in elementary school.) Spencer skipped school on his b-day being a Wednesday and late start, to go pick out his new TV at Costco since he wanted Jarom's old XBOX for his b-day. We had a family b-day party with his request of pizza, rootbeer floats, cup cakes and presents, then Matt and the kids were off to mutual and Cubs. Spencer brought the rest of his cupcakes to share with his Cub Scout troop. Matt and the boys hooked and connected up his new TV and XBOX in his room after they got home which he was excited about. Spencer is a good kid, always in line and super observant. He is polite, lovable and always good for a hug, "thank you" and "I love you." Spencer doesn't like to be in the lime-light or draw attention to himself around others, perfectly happy to take a back seat to any un-wanted attention so in other words he's a bit quiet/shy in public; however, not in the comfort of his own home, family or friends. Spencer may be small but he is very coordinated and athletic.

A Field of FROGS and DANDELIONS...
A BOY and GIRLS DREAM FIELD...
Convincing Josh to leave the FROGGIES safe in their swampy Filed of Dandelion Dream Home wasn't easy, he thought they were his new pets.
Nothing like a Sunday Spring Stroll down the neighborhood...
Jarom's Scout Group went to the Carbon River past Wilkinson for a camp out a few weeks ago, Matt and Spencer went also...they said it was super COLD at night but they had a good time.
Playing around in the river...
Tents all set up for camp.
The pictures Matt took on his phone look really pretty, we need to go back as a family over summer when it's a tad warmer outside...
Our fam pic they took before we went up the Space Needle. Not sure what happened to Josh's jacket, I'm thinking it has something to do with the photo shop since they put our pic in front of many different background options to choose from.
A day in Seattle for our fam and the kids cousins the Tucks over Spring Break week.
Doing a day full of Seattle Site Seeing is kind of taken for granted living in the Great Northwest so we decided to finally take the kids to do some to take in all that our beautiful city has to offer!
Going up the Space Needle Elevator...you kinda leave your heart at the bottom of your feet headed up to the top :)
We made it to the top, safe and sound. The weather was perfect, not too hot that it was too crowded not too cold that we didn't enjoy our visit. The forecast predicted rain so we think many people shied away from site seeing the day we headed into Seattle and the rain didn't settle in until later on in the day. It was windy up there though. We had a great time!
A bit of site seeing with the binoculars and telescopes.
The view of Seattle was really pretty from the top of the Space Needle.
Despite no sun, the kids still had fun playing with and in the water fountain. Josh got a little carried away and ended up with wet feet for the day, but that's Josh for you.
Riding the Duck was a lot of FUN for EVERYONE! Our tour guide was the funniest and took us all over Seattle site seeing on and off of land. It was great, we'd totally recommend it to all if you haven't experienced a ride on the Duck.
The Old Spaghetti Factory.
Down by the Pier and Waterfront
Our Guide changed his wig and hats throughout the tour, it was a hoot! Pike Place Market.
Driving by Pioneer Square and the underground tours.
On to the water we went, Gas works park. Puget Sound was so pretty!
We sailed by the Sleepless in Seattle home.
Can't forget the Pink Elephant. Right towards the end of our Duck tour it started to rain which was actually perfect.
We hit the Children's Museum at the end of the day, the kids had the place entirely to themselves and we got it free...well for donation only (we ended up paying $10.00 per fam) being the last hour which with two families of 8 = 16 people it saved us a little fortune :)
Time for some grocery shopping...self check out.
A Great Day with the Family in Seattle!
