Spring Fair with a bit of corn dogs, curly fries and our fav Aunt Ginger's Dairy Bar Icecream cones!

Congrats to our New Cheerleader~

 Congrats Bre!
Sixteen Girls made the SHS Cheer Team this year (the five seniors in the front will be leaving.) Bre decided to switch things up this year, she miss cheering and being more involved in the school and serving the community and the positive uplifting feeling of cheering this past year so she followed her heart and left the dance/drill team to try out for cheer and she made the team! Very proud of her and her decision and determination :)
The six freshman Cheerleaders (sophomores in the fall.)
Excited for you Bre...

The Kids

 Spring Pictures of The Kiddos...
Saydee Lady
Brooklynne in her High Heels...such a girl, she was SOOOO Excited to wear the shoes she had picked out it was ridiculous. She now has barely taken them off, she wants to wear them with every outfit everywhere. She's definently our Shoe Girl.
 Then there's Josh.
Can't forget Spencer.
Next in line is Miss Ellie Belle.
And Bre, she's made it a whole year in braces...only one left to go.
And of course Jarom, who for the record did get a new coordinating shirt and tie but apparently didn't get to memo to wear it Sunday :) maybe we'll catch him when he decides to put it on, we'll see. I quite frankly was just happy he wanted to pose for a picture. Teenagers these day, not too keen on getting his pic taken...
and, there you have it, our kids all grown up and too fast...

Derby Boys 2015

April 2015
 Josh with his "Orange Crush"
Spencer with his "Mean Green Machine"...
The Boys and Dad worked hard on these Derby Cars this year, double duty with two...(or maybe it was more :) They had their cars completely finished and painted and then Matt was doing a bit more research online and realized that he thought he had put the weight in the wrong end of the cars to make for a faster time and he figured that must've been the glitch the past few years with Spencer's cars (it had been a long time since he was a pro with Jarom's car and regionals.) So after all that work they started again from square one, Spencer didn't even end up using his "Mean Green Machine" in the picture, he switched to "The Beast" at the last minute right before the Derby began.
This was Josh's 1st year and Spencer's 3rd and last year in the cubs...
Josh won 2nd Place, way to go Blosh!!!! Looks like for you, car #2 was worth the time and effort in the re-make. (For Josh he's so super competitive...)
Spencer won "Best Looking Overall," which was pretty cool! Maybe he should have used the "Mean Green Machine" after all, his times weren't quite fast enough to place 1-3rd!
Working on construction of the derby cars.

Easter Time!

The Little One's Ready for a Egg Hunt.
We spent Saturday late afternoon and evening at Grandma and Grandpa Jackson's for some good family fun, celebrating Easter together. Grandma spent a lot of time prepping and putting a special time together for everyone with the hunt and games. After the festivities, we had a nice dinner of ham and rib roast with all of the fixings with yummy strawberry and apple pie for dessert, everyone had a good time!

Matt was so upset when Jarom (his partner) dropped their egg and got out, it was funny :) and priceless to watch their reactions.
I believe Uncle Brodie and Uncle Jake were the egg tossing champs in the end.

Grandma had one more outdoor egg game up her sleeve...
I wanted to get a big group pic of the kids with Grandma but these were the best I was able to capture, there was just too much excitement going on with all of the fun!
Pass the egg down the line, using your neck only...
Yep, we captured some doozies of photo ops with this game!!!
Hope you are ready for a good laugh....
Brodie and Kimmie were a hoot trying to pass that egg down the line :) :) :)
Too funny!

Egg Hunt on Easter afternoon in between Conference Sessions.
The kids scored some money from this hunt.
Happy Easter! Easter morning was nice and relaxing, we stayed in our jammies and watched the Easter morning conference session then had some brunch in between with traditional breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls and fruit. After breakfast the kids went on their egg hunt, we watched the 2nd session of Sun Conference, then we colored our Easter Eggs and had an ham Easter dinner to finish our Easter at home.
Josh's funny monster egg.
Saydee diving into the egg stash,
The kids had an egg-cellent time. We sure enjoy and look forward to time spent with the family and yearly family traditions. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful close and extended family to spend time with making memories while staying focused on who has made this life and our many blessings of an eternal family possible...
