Happy Birthday to The Grandparents

September 2019
My parents came for a visit over the weekend when school started and it was g-pa's b-day the following week and we never had the chance to celebrate g-ma's birthday with her back in July (her gift was breakable so we didn't send it) so we celebrated with some cake after church on Sunday. G-pa had came to see a Huskies U of W game on Saturday evening which just so happened to turn into a quite eventful evening! It got stormed out for quite a few hours with a ton of rain and lightning (a huge lightning storm to be quite frank.) They finally re-stated the game up again at like 11 pm or so (they had to wait 30 min in between lightning and they couldn't re-start until there was a 30 min duration without a reoccuring lightning strike...which took quite awhile.) The game actually started at 7 pm and only went for a few minutes before the storm started. Then after the game, g-pa rode the transit bus back to where him and a client (friend) had parked their cars so he didn't come strolling in until like 3:30 am :) an early morning entrance! Not a dull evening, one full of memories for sure! And to think just the evening before no coats were needed to the kids high school football games (Spencer attended the Sumner game.) G-pa even wondered if he should wear shorts to the Husky game that night...good thing he choose otherwise! Happy Birthday to the cutest parents out there, #67 for Dad and #21 for Mom!!

Field Trip to The Fire House

September 2019
Saydee's preschool class took their first field trip to the firehouse, they had a great time and the firefighters were so good with the kids...it was a lot of fun and good/important info for the kiddos.
Most fire stations I've seen in the past have poles but this one had a slide inside so the crew can load onto their trucks as quick as possible on calls.
Feeling so special up to the fire truck seat.
Good Times at the station and we timed our tour to exactness, the team literally got sent on a call right as we were finishing up which ironically made it even funner for the kids in reality to see the sirens and lights go off! (Let's hope the call wasn't anything too serious and if so, they were in good hands at the scene cuz this crew is top notch!

Yuo Know it's Fall When The Fair Hits Home...

September 2019
Do The Puyallup!
Cotton Candy...no fair visit in complete without this fluffy sugar!
Bre was gone to Bumpershoot for the weekend with friends so Maddy stepped in to happily take her spot with our fam visit to the Fair.
The kids did a lot of roller coasters and the lines were slim over Labor Day Weekend (thinking many were getting their last fam vacations in before school started!) We took advantage of the opp to virtually being able to simply walk onto the rides without waiting in long lines!!
The Big Kid and his games!
Shave ICE, it was heaven!
Shades were on the prowl.
KITTY RIDES...
Josh was the caboose with the last one of the fam doing a ride with the haunted house SOLO, lol!
Fair Visit Take TWO...
Brooklynne looks forward to this fair performance each year with another free opp to get into the fair to perform for her cheer team. Matt and I...also enjoyed the chance to get some more one on one time with Miss B and to do the Puyallup enjoying the good food a second time around!
Awe...sweet daddy daughter pic.
Pumpkin winners of 2019.
Cheers to FALL and welcoming in all the HOLIDAYS!
