Down the road as you are headed into town from our home, they cleared out a huge area of wooded forests in what seemed like a single day, it looked like a scene from The Lorax with just a few Teffala trees left. (Apparently making room for more homes, but sad for all the animals and wildlife.)

Bre and Saydee making pizzas for a Sissy Date Night.

Bre spent the weekend working on a scrap book full of her missionaries pics so far in the Philippians. It will be a fun book full of memories through Kohlten's mission when it is complete!

Gma Jackson and Dolly took Ellie, Spencer, Josh, Brooklynne and Madison (Ellie's Bestie) to Chelan for the weekend while Bre watched Saydee at the homefront and Matt and I got away for a stay-cation for our 21st Anniversary. The Chelan crew spent the weekend in the water at Lake Chelan, The Columbia River and The Waterslide Park in Chelan. Spencer (oh poor Spencer) got fried to a lobster crisp, so sad. Apparently he did apply sun block on multiple times but he is just so fair skin toned and hadn't really gotten too much sun this summer to date, he got BURNED and BURNED BAD...miserably blistery bad and he's paying for it still! The kids all had a good time tho and he didn't get fried until the last day which was good :) fun times in the sun.

Dolly mentioned that our kids are great bowlers and that Spencer has some skills. The kids all loved that Aunt Dolly joined in the fun weekend (she is up visiting from Utah for a month or so) I guess she made it super fun as we all love Dolly and her fun-life of the party personality!

We stayed at a new hotel in Tukwilla, The Interurban Hotel for the night. We stopped off for relaxing pedicures and picked up some Red Robin for lunch close to home then headed over to Tukwilla where we did a bit of shopping at the mall, went to play a competitive game of Mini Golf at The Family Fun Center Bullwinkle's (Matt is proud to announce to everyone that he won...) went to Claim jumpers for dinner and had a night to ourselves child free, it was very nice!
