PCA STATE CHEER COMP, MT SI 2020

PCA Cheer has grown quite a bit since Brooklynne joined three years ago, they now have four comp teams and a rec non-competition team. Brooklynne was on the senior comp team this year, she is doing amazing and loves the time she spends with her squad learning and perfecting their routines and stunts. The SQUAD placed 3rd at State, which was super cool. We were very proud of the team and all of their improvement, commitment and energy this year, way to go PCA HALOS SR TEAM!
Yeh, that's Brooke's bum flipping in the air :)
LET'S GO PCA!

New Years Eve and Day Festivities 2020

Did someone say Brunch? This little diner place Lil' Jons was so good, it's down by the temple and they have the fastest service (after you are seated that is, we put our name in and walked to the church bookstore to look around which is always fun) so yes, best breakfast food...so good!
Matt and I as part of Matt's Christmas stocking stuffer spent a few nights in Bellevue for a stay-cation over the Christmas holiday to celebrate the new year, it was much needed after a busy December, time to just relax and unwind while enjoying each other's company!
We met up with the Tucks and Matt's parents one night while staying in Bellevue at El Gaucho, a nice steak house that the Tucks frequent (a bit too pricey for our every day but for special occasions it's well worth it!) Since the Tucks are known at a first name basis, they gave us our own room, yeh it was a wine room :) notice Matt in the pic. Anyways, when they took Matt's drink order it was funny since the waiter didn't even know where to find the non alcoholic drinks on the menu and had a hard time even recalling anything other than the wine list, ha ha! Then you gotta love the face masks, we took the relaxation to the next level thanks to my sis Jeana's Christmas gift this year!
Grandma Cheryl and her spread of good food.
For New Years Eve, we ended up at Grandma Jacksons home with the fam playing games and socializing with plenty of snacks and food until the strike of midnight!
Zoeie, Mazie and Ireland then Jaxon, Josh and a friend of Michael and Ashley's that joined us.
Goofy little kids, Elias, Shea, Jill, Mazie, Saydee, Brooklynne and Crew.
Bre and Jarom spent the evening at a dance in Gig Harbor with their friend Cayt and a ton of YSA's where they had a lot of fun at. Pieper, Zoeie, Mazie, Brooke, Jill and Ireland being crazy girls.
A bit of gum at the dance for some fresh breathe, gotta get those new years kisses in lol.
Ellie went to a friend party with her Sumner friends for the evening, then Brodie, Gma Cheryl, Bridget, Mike and Matt playing Texas Hold Em, or Canasta or Tripoly? One of those...
Matt and I and Ellie and Dylan ringing in the new year.
Boys being boys, abit of gaming and gun...Gary gets his guns out every Christmas season.
Gary and Cheryl treated the whole fam to all the bowling, games, karaoke and food we could eat for three hours of fun the evening of New Years Day in Tukwilla.
Everyone had a ton of fun,
 Let the good times roll.
 Strike after strike!
All of the guys had a good time showing off their punching/boxing skills at the arcades. I'm pretty sure Spencer was the one to show them all up.
Brooke and Cammie Jean have alot of fun together, these two crazy girls playing tether ball in their bathing suits when it was old enough to snow outside (cooling off from the hot tub I believe, Brooke is a die hard at the tetherball these days tho.)
 Spencer and Bella getting cozy.
As a last hurrah before calling Christmas break over, we all went roller skating. Saydee had never gone before and she had the BEST time ever, it was hard to get her to call the roller rink quits! She loved it,
Jill and Brooke getting ready to race off.
 It's Competition Time.
The boys, Spencer, Josh and Jaxn up to race.
The Hokie-Pokie, such a oldie but goodie!
It was fun to watch Saydee's confidence build over the course of the night and before long she was owning the rink just like the older kids,
We hit Casa Mia for some Italian before heading home for the evening.
Say Cheese, happy New Year y'all!
