Happy Forty-One Matt

May 18. 2015
 Happy, happy Matt!
We surprised Matt and invited some family to over for some KFC, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes with mac and cheese, salad and fruits to celebrate Matt's 41st b-day last Friday evening. Saydee got to help daddy unwrap a few presents.
Jeana and Ben and Kimmie with Jill and Brooke. After dinner, the kids went swimming in the pool and hot tub and then we played a few party games which was fun.
Brodie, Stephanie and their little three.
Grandma and the clan.
Matt with Jarom and his parents in the pic.
Bre and Emily.
I made Matt an ice cream cake for his b-day. I did up the inside just like a Dairy Queen cake, it was a hit and every bit of it was polished off.
Happy little girls helping Matt... sing happy birthday to him!
Making a wish, cha cha cha, say "hello" to your grandma!
Happy Birthday...and many more!
Outback celebration Sat night with a date out just the two of us.
Late Monday night we celebrated for a third time on Matt's actual b-day. It was a busy one with the last week of Spencer's Little League games before play offs and the first night of Bre's Drivers Ed course.
Hope it's a great year hon! We truly could not ask for a more devoted father and husband in our family. Matt gives his all to us, his church callings and his work to support his family. We are very blessed to have the best of the best! Love you more than we can express or say honey.

Mother's Day Weekend

May 2015
Brooke and I deciding on which Mother's Day cake to choose from...after a hard decision, we chose the middle one free from any unwanted by Saydee chocolate :)
Mt Rainier has been Gorgeous these past few days.
Saydee enjoying her Mother's Day Balloon and a Beautiful Floral arrangement from Daddy.
We've spent quite a bit of time on the Sumner Link Trails behind our house lately.
Spencer's Class Garden at School, he's been pretty excited about this and spends his recess time cultivating it.
We found some Ginormous Blackberries at Trader Joe's, this picture doesn't do how big they actually were justice...they were so large-I had never seen such big blackberries!!!
Mother's Day with the kids, yep' seven Mommy and Me pics :) Here's the little girls,
And the little boys.
Then the older girls.
 And of course Jarom.
After church, there was a joint effort in the kitchen for Mother's Day Brunch.
It's always a delight to see the guys in the kitchen.
Looks like there was a bit of possessiveness over the hashbrowns on the grill.
 Brunch is served!
I've got to tell you, food always tastes better if you're not the one preparing it :)
Sweet Mother's Day Cards from the kids.
After brunch, we took a short nap and then headed over to see Mom Jackson in Black Diamond with the rest of the extended family. We had a nice visit besides Brookie taking a little spill on the cement...
So sad. Luckily, it wasn't too bad just a big goose egg which now is a large banana bruiser on her heady pie.
