Ellie had better luck finding cuter fabric than Bre's candy cane fabric around the home and sewed up a pillow by hand one night on the weekend, she was up tell 3 in the morning sewing this thing. We picked her up some batting so she could stuff it a few days after.
After a fun field trip to Fort Nisqually learning about the pioneers, Ellie made a covered pioneer wagon for school. Going through Oregon on our trip to Idaho, we stopped off at the Oregon Trail rest stop so I snapped some pics of the commemoration monuments.
Speaking of Pioneers, Tracey...I think I found the picture Rod was referring to, this one was labeled mother and siblings in grain field! Our Great Grandma Jorgensen.

Four more Girl Friend Parties this weekend. I can hoestly say that June is the PARTY month with out any hesitations, seventeen birthdays on the June calendar that will be celebrated between friends and fam when all is said and done. Then you add the graduations, baby showers, anniversarys, fathers day, recitals, talents shows, baptisms, even a wedding and a funeral...one packed month of energy! Wouldn't you know I even got to speak in sac mtg last Sunday, it's been busy but the kids are out of school this week and things should calm down a bit, or maybe with everyone home the party has just begun?
