Celebrating The Season With Family & Friends

December 28, 2011
There's just something so special about having a little baby boy so close to Christmas time.
We found some fun baby blue seasonal cuties to take with us on our visit to see the newest member of the Jackson family little Crew Jakob Jackson, Jake and Sarah's newest child.  He's so cute!
Bre's Performing Group made many's Christmas time a bit more special as she performed at numerous Retirement and Nursing Homes around the area this season.  Brooke tagged along for some and even made a few new friends.
Brooklynne enjoys playing with her little friend Kinley who's one of the Dance Instructor's (Melanie's)  daughters, they are a month apart and are so much alike it's funny.
These two had a good time dancing showing off their moves from the side lines.
Kitchen Helpers are always welcome in our home.
The Kids in their Sunday Christmas Best, Jarom did get a matching suit as well- he apparently just didn't get the memo it was the day to wear it to church.
For the Noble Christmas FHE Gathering this year, we had a talent show put on by the family which was quite entertaining and fun for all.. Spencer and Bre showing off their Karate skills.
Brooklynne and Brock "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree."
Ellie Tapping.  She was so nervous, this was the first time she has done a solo of any sort, she was so worried she'd forget her dance but she did well and we were so proud of her.
Spencer at the Piano.
Lydia, Tracey and Nathan at the Violin.
Harrison, Peyson, Max and Wendy singing a Christmas song written by mom Wendy Noble.
Wendy and Rod played a nice Piano/Guitar Duet.
Harrison at the Piano and Josh showing off his Art Skills.
Aunt LaRae passing around the goodies.
Sitting on the stage for a surprise from Great Grandpa and Grandma Noble.
Cousins gatherig together for a pic.

Cheese Burgers!
Great Grandma and Grandpa Noble sent up some winter hats for all of the Great Grand kids so they all got to open their hats and then put them on for a big group picture.
The Talent Table Display and Josh and his token trophy of the pinata that he was so excited about.
 Christmas Gathering with the Jackson's.
The little cousins had a fun time seeing each other and playing.
These pics make me hungry for more.  The dinner and dessert was really good and the meat was really tender and moist, delicious!
After dinner, it was quickly time to sing in our Special Visitor.  We sang quite a few Christmas Carols and Grandma recited "The Night Before Christmas."

Then Santa Claus ARRIVED!
Santa's always good for a new pair of pj's to wear on Christmas Eve.
I know Matt, you're going to give me a "good talking' for posting this pic but it was in reaction to Brooklynne so excited about Santa Claus as she was telling her daddy that Santa was nice and that he gave her some new pj's.  Matt was like, "WOW" and showing his excitment for her.
It was so sweet, she finally warmed up to Santa and decided to go give him a BIG HUG!!!
What a priceless picture, the magic of the Christmas Spirit for a young child.
What a nice Santa Claus.
 The Nativity.
For Christmas Eve, we decided to invite Grandma and Grandpa Jackson over for our Turkey Christmas Dinner this year.
We had turkey with the trimmings and then we read our traditional "Christmas Oranges" story and had a little program focusing on Christ with the kids, it was a perfect evening and the kids were all in bed by 9:30pm, yeh' amazing!!! It helped that church was the next morning so getting them to bed at their regular Sat evening bed time for the 9am church schedule helped out in that dept. for an early bed time for Christmas Eve.
Look at that Turkey, we actually just made our turkey noodle soup this evening as part of the left over rituals, it's so great to just throw in the leftover mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, gravy then pull out some carrots, celery, onion and broth, simmer it over the stove for a few hours- add the noodles the last few minutes and call it one of the best comfort food meals, while dipping in the left over rolls... it was very fitting for tonight's rainy evening, BreAnna did the majority of the adding, chopping and stirring while I ran a few errands with Matt, easy as pie!  We'll get to the Christmas Morning pics in a later post but we did have an enjoyable time with family and friends this season, family is so important.  We are enjoying a bit of a break from the reality of the daily routines this week, Matt's taken the week off of work, the kids are out of school of course and we are just kind of checking out of any obligations to enjoy the company of the family and it's great.
