It's My 4th Birthday!!!
Our Pretty Lil Princess Saydee. This girl was SOOOO SOOOO SOOOO excited for her birthday to arrive and to celebrate her special 4th b-day!
Happy, Happy Day to Celebrate our Sweet Saydee Gal!
December Baby...
How is Saydee already Four Whole Years OLD?!
We celebrated this year with a Cinderella Princess party for the true princess our little girl is!
Tacos were the dinner of choice from the b-day girl herself.
Gma and Gpa Jackson joined us in celebration on Saydee's special day.
A princess cake for the birthday gal!
Our little sweet heart.
Time to cut that cake!
Time for Presents.
Can we just say, EASIEST gal to shop for...she loves EVERYTHING. She is all about the girlly but she also looks up to her big bros and likes to play with the "boy" toys as well so. She likes her princesses and dressing up but she also enjoys a good super hero, lego build or race track as well! She is very well-rounded I'd say.
I jot down a few of the funny or cute sayings that Saydee started to come up with this past little bit as she would say them and here's a few to share as we celebrate this little gem!
Saydee to Spencer first thing in the morn after he woke up and came downstairs: "Good Morning Sunshine!"
"Mommy can you tie this blankie to my back, I want to be Elsa. I am Saydee right now and I need to be Elsa so I can run to my castle."
Saydee after drinking soda pop, "my nose just farted."
"I love butterflies and moths because they are nice."
"I want a doggie, actually I want a husky!"
With a Spa Face-mask on: "I'm Gecko, PJ Masks...Cat Boy!"
As I am getting ready in my bathroom: "Mommy why are you getting ready, are you going no-where or yes-where?"
When we asked Sayde if she had missed her siblings that had been to Chelan for the weekend with Grandma, she said, "I missed Brookie, Josh and Spencer but not Ellie, she's not my friend- she likes to scare me!"
When the missionaries were over for dinner. I was telling them the story of Saydee at church earlier in the day explaining why her hands were both stained in green ink. (She had colored with thick green Crayola markers during sacrament meeting and she decided to trace her hands with the marker.) Since her fingers are just itty bitty the thick marker had a hard time going in between her little fingers resulting in most of the ink on and in between her fingers vs on her paper. As I told the elders the story, Saydee goes.."mom don't tell them" (she was getting embarrassed) So I said, "okay I won't" and she goes "you already did mom, now I'm mad at you. I can't believe this."
...lol, who would have guessed a 3 year old would be so embarrassed around the missionaries!
Saydee wanted a snack and she kept on saying she wanted a "fruit by the hand," I was way confused and went to the pantry and saw the "Fruit by the foots" (fruit snacks) so I go, "Oh you mean you want a fruit by the foot?" She said, "fine," and she just took it and was content for the time being. A few days later, again, she said "I want a fruit by the hand." I asked her "you mean a fruit by the foot?" She goes "no mom, I'll go get them!!" She runs into the storage room and brings back these...a bulk box of hand warmers. So FUNNY! We were at Costco a few days prior and had picked up a big box of "fruit by the foots" and fairly close to them we also grabbed a big box of hand warmers so Saydee thought they were fruit snacks also, just called "Fruit by the hands."
Silly Girl!
Saydee sees Mt Rainer from our back yard and when we are in Orting we have a beautiful view of it. Somehow in Saydee's head she was under the impression that we were going to go to the mountain the next morning (one night as I tucked her in bed) she says, "mom, I am so so excited to go to bed because we are going to the mountain tomorrow!" Apparently she had asked me earlier in the day if we could go and I had said yes??? She said she was excited to go run up the mountain with Josh and to build snowmen. I had to explain that although it looks pretty close, the mountain is actually a lot farther away than it appears and that we wouldn't be going to the mountain in the morning but we would have to plan a family outing to the mountain some time soon :)
I was driving Saydee to preschool and she was coloring behind me in her car seat when she was adamant that I turned around to see how beautiful her drawing was. When I told her that I would have to wait until I came to a stop since I had to keep my eyes on the road because I didn't want to crash the car. She said "okay mom, I have a good idea- I'll watch the road for you and you can turn around to see my picture!"
That's our Saydee, the Problem Solver! I love it!!!
