SUPER SATURDAY CRAFTS, Bre and I whipped these cute triangle projects out in an hour slot that we had on Saturday.
Brooke, Spencer and Ellie
Josh our bug lover and Spencer.
Jarom and Spence
The kids had a fun time playing outside finding grass hoppers in the field and a usual of riding their bikes. I love the last of the NICE EVENINGS as Fall slips into it's months, it was such a nice evening that we let the kids play outside this night even though they should have been prepping for the evening routine knowing that we won't get too many more evenings like this one. The crisp air yet the sun is still shining...very harvest feeling like. Later in the evening when I picked Bre up from cheer practice, the HARVEST MOON was so pretty Had to enjoy the evening to the fullest and soak it all in while it lasted before the rain welcomed itself into place for the fall.
Brooke is loving her PRESCHOOL with the added plus of GYMNASTICS on Wednesdays, I love that it's SO CLOSE to our home just down the street, I'm able to get errands ran, plan lessons and even clean the house without any distractions or messes being made at the same time, imagine that!
FALL RECIPES, the feeling of fall makes me so in the mood to bake. We made some pumpkin bars the other day with the cream cheese frosting, I love that recipe a fall fav for sure. Getting inspired for the holidays.
Fall church ACTIVITIES, these girls love their activity days! Ellie with her gal friends as they visited TEXAS and HAWAII for an activity last Wed evening, can we get a YEE HAH?
And since the Activity Day Girl leaders in our ward as so awesome, they even let Brooke get her cow girl on, it was so funny- she really gets into character when you put a cowgirl hat and a bandanna on her. Wouldn't be surprised if she joined acting some day...
FAIR FOOD!!!
FAIR ANIMALS!
FAIR RIDES!
Matt and Brooke, Spencer and me and Jarom and Josh took a ride on the Tiger Roller Coaster.
Looks like Dad and Brooke were the winners coming in first then Jarom, Spencer, Josh and Ellie in the tail end.
Bre her friend Kjeristy and Brooke in the wacky house.
Ellie and Noelle and Jarom and Josh in the flying umbrellas.
Haunted House and Gravitron.
Maybe we shouldn't have eaten so much fair food before all of these spinning rides...keep it all down boys!
Fair Games and Stuffed Animal Prizes.
Ellie and Noelle went on that crazy stomach ache of a ride above, not sure where those two got their stomaches of steel?
Ellie and Noelle with their raccoon tails and the crew at the foot massagers after grabbing some icecream. G-ma Jackson and cousin Noelle met up with our fam as well as Kjeristy (Bre's friend) and her mom.
Then there's dad who won these two BIG ones like it was a walk in the park, everyone was amazed...especially the ones who had been playing time after time with no luck, maybe beginners luck? He always has been a fair game-pro!
Check out that new fair record...seriously, 1314.5 lbs, holy pumpkin Charlie Brown!
Carrot Mug Shots.
Checking out the agriculture exhibit, I have always loved this area it's so cool!
Check out the mean bee faces~
We got the buy one get one free fair corn at mid night since they were shutting down shop as we waited for dad and Ellie to go on one last fair ride, the EXTREME SCREAM. No, Brooklynne doesn't have glossy tired eyes at all...
Buckle up, fair riders!
A LONG WAYS UP and a LONG WAYS DOWN...
Ellie wanted to go again...but it was time to call it a night, until next year...
Last Sunday after church we made CARAMEL APPLES, Spencer is our caramel lover and had been begging all weekend to make these.
Yummo, nothing spells fall like a LOADED CARAMEL APPLE!
LUMINASIA
Matt and I hit up the Puyallup Fair kidless the second time around. We toured the Luminasia exhibit while doing the Puyallup, it's a new thing this year and very impressive, check out the pics...pretty cool right?
We thought our evening may end up a rained out evening but the rainbow as we pulled into Puyallup was a good sign and it actually turned out to be a perfect night at the fair as the weather cooperated quite well. We dropped Bre off with a few friends to go to the Austin Mahone CONCERT at the fair, my goodness these girls and his fans have some lungs...they were super loud gah gah over Austin! Nothing like teenage heart-throbs~ Bre and Kjeristy stayed up late Friday night making these red tu tus just for the occasion because Austin's fav color is RED of course, they were pretty excited over their box seats. After the concert, as Austin's tinted window vans were leaving he drove by Matt and I with his body guards shielding the vans from all of the crazy girls running after them, it was funny! He waved as he was on his cell phone as they drove out of the fair, Bre and her friends were jealous that we were so close to him.
A few random pics of the fair animals, the baby piggies were too cute! Yep. loving the SEASON of FALL.
