Not the Prettiest Post but Progress...

Digging the Hot Tub hole.
The hole's almost big enough.
Prepping the hole for the tub to be set in place.
We are installed, now to build the deck around the hot tub.
Working away.
The Gazebo is up and assembled, oh my the stories we could tell about getting and then assembling this beast!  Sure looks good now that it's all up and done though, on to the pavers.
Time for the bigger hole and more dirt.  Thank goodness the neighbor Tom has wanted to utilize the majority of this dirt, he has tractored it over to his lot for a race track.  Matt also rented a trailor to dump a good portion of it in for him and a few others for raised flower beds and gardens.  I can't even count how many loads and trips we have made to the hardware store and gravel pits for more supplies, unloading and loading these blocks and shoveling sure is a back and time killer.
One of Matt's crew men Javon at World CNG is a mad-man on the Bobcat and handled it real well so he pitched in and went to town on the pool hole. (They did have a slight set back on a broken part but after it was fixed they were back in gear.)
You can kind of see just beyond the hot tub Matt has started a circular sitting area also.
Here's another view of the sitting area, and then the stairs leading down to it.
A bit closer view on the little wooden deck landing around the hot tub.
Our current drive way condition.
A big ole' pool hole.
My little projects to help out, filled in the side of the paved walkway with river rock and stepping stones where dirt existed before and weeded out the garden all ready to plant some summer veggies.

Just for documentation I felt I should document all of the DIRT again, it doesn't get any cleaner or like our post title any "prettier" but for our progression-documentation purposes and when it's all said and done it will be fun to look back on this memorable process and the stages and numerous hours of our "do it yourself project" of a completed backyard.  This weekend we even had a Bobcat on hand and in action in our backyard, I'm sure the neighbors were all thrilled at this loud piece of machinery...oh well, it was just a for a few days.  So one step and day at a time we're (pretty much Matt to be more accurate) is plug, plug, a plugging away on this vision.
