Relaxing Sunday Stroll to the Beach

One Sunday in August after church, our fam decided to take a drive out to the beach to relax and to enjoy the sunshine together. Last time we had been to Dash Point beach, the tide was way out so the beach front was huge. This time is was a lot smaller (maybe depending on the time of the year or day idk?) but we found a nice quiet/more secluded cove that we were able to lay out our blanket and towels where the little kids could wade in the water and play in the sand while the older ones just enjoyed some relaxing in the nice summer sun.

Sand Lake Dunes Trip 2019

This yearly Jackson Family trip to the Sand Dunes is one that we look forward to each Summer. Matt and the boys always have fun bonding over long hours of working mechanically prepping all of the riding gear and vehicles to haul over to Oregon. All of their hard work and prep paid off with a fun and eventful vaca for our fam. 

 

The Ocean was beautiful, the weather was perfect and we even managed to break away from the sand long enough for a visit to the Tillamook Creamery for a bit, fun times with the fam before it was that time of the year to head back to school with the bitter-sweet reality of a more structured life...
