Our Lovely Senior Elleisha SuZanne, SO PROUD OF OUR GRAD!

The Class of 2020, The Quarantine Grads..."Senior Skip Day CHAMPS by FAR!"
OUR GRAD ELLIE!
Hats off To 2020 THESE QUARANTINE GRADS!
Ellie and her cousin Bailee had some Senior Cap and Gown Pics Taken together which was fun, they all turned out so pretty of these beautiful gals!
Free Doughnuts for 2020 GRADS. After waiting in a car line for three hours at Krispy Creme in Tacoma the first day this promo opened...they ran out the goods so then the girls got in a line for a rain-check coupon and they ran out of those...They found out that the grad doughnuts were available all week so they got smart and left the house at 4:30 am one morn to go down to get their doughnuts, even with no coupon, they explained what had happened and to avail- the girls got their free GRAD doughnuts, persistence pays off and is super sweet in the end! They were very cute, maybe worth the wait?!
Picking up her honor cord at the social distancing Awards Ceremony Drive Through at the PCSC.
A BIG CONGRATS to our Senior STUDENT OF THE YEAR for COSMETOLOGY for the Pierce County Skills Center. Ellie will also be GRADUATING with her AA in Cosmetology Hair Design From Clover Park Technical College.
SURPRISE! Ellie had no clue that all of the PCSC Directors and Faculty Staff Members would come surprise her with her Awards and a little ceremony from her Cosmo Instructor Miss Mel right in our front yard. She was like, "What is going on?" when all of the hoking from their cars started after they all had quietly pulled up to the front of our home. It was very nice of all of them to take the time to do this special treat for Ellie and all of the other program Students of the Year.
We also had a SURPRISE little family lunch after her Student of the Year Presentation.
 Ellie's Cosmetology Friends
Ellie,
You have always been our independent gal who loves your family and friends with your compassionate,
fun-going, adventurous personality! Not sure how this all happened so fast- but here we are and you
are graduating high school (and not just high school but with all your hard work and dedication,
you are graduating with your cosmetology/hair design degree also!!)
We are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments this far and we know without a
doubt that this is truly only the beginning of your great potential and what your life has
in store for you! You are full of creativity, determination, courage and faith and we could not
be more happy with the beautiful person you have grown into inside and out. Your parents
have always been impressed with you and your inner spirit with how you know who you are
and stick to your values! You are a great example to us and so many.
Your future and life will be full of many ups and downs but with much opportunity for
growth and learning, so always remember to take every experience and to look for the good
in it to help mold you into the amazing person you are and will yet to become!

Ellie's Senior Pictures.
Love this girl!
I had fun making and a rolling up some little diploma money jars and caps w tassels for some special senior grads! We have a Orting High School, Sumner High and Tahoma High colored gifts.
Drive Through Seminary Graduation, Bishop Graham was looking quite stylish in his blue gloves and red bandanna over his face.
All set for her drive through GRADUATION!
We never dreamed that we would attend a drive-though graduation ceremony, I suppose never say never and there's a first time for everything for sure.
Each family was only allowed one vehicle to drive onto the football field under the balloon arch to attend the graduation for each high school grad. We choose the truck (utilizing the truck bed) so all of our family members would have a good view of Ellie walking across the stage to receive her diploma.
As we drove through the parking lot to the field, the Orting High School teachers and staff cheered the grads on.
As luck would have it, the internet went out as Ellie was waiting in line and they lost their wifi to air the ceremony via facebook live so she and three other grads were patiently waiting for a fat minute while they cleared the technical difficulties up.
After quite a long wait, the wifi and system was up and running again.
Good things come to those who wait, congrats Ellie- you did it!
The nice thing about attending a small high school is that Ellie actually received and signed for her actual diploma that very same day right after she walked which was very cool!
Three down...four to go!
Ellie scored herself four tassels for her graduation including: one for her high school Honor Roll GPA, one for her student of the year, her PCSC Honor Roll and then all of her class received a special COVID-19 year tassel being such a unique graduating class.
A Proud Mama and Dad. We have a whole family photo that a photographer took for the grad's families at the graduation, that and an actual pic of the grads receiving their diplomas (which was nice of the high school to provide for free of the seniors this year) we haven't gotten ours back yet but that will be nice to have.
We celebrated with our first dinner out since the restaurant indoor dining started back up again (thank goodness our state and county had just been cleared for phase II of Jay Inslees Corona virus back to healthy plan). We had to sit at two separate tables with a social-distancing able in between (they are only allowed 50 percent capacity at this time with the limit of 5 to a table), such a dumb rule since we are all a family who arrived in the same vehicle and will go back home to the same household but it's whatever...we were honestly just happy to get a warm meal that had never tasted so good dining out...take-out/door dash/uber just isn't the same! They actually had a HS senior parade through town after the ceremony and everyone's allotted arrival time was complete. We couldn't convince Ellie that she wanted to be a princess on the family truck for the event and she passed, she's not one to want to draw much attention to herself so it didn't surprise us that she passed on the parade opp. (I'm pretty sure Brooklynne wanted to be in the parade though which didn't surprise us either- she on the other hand loves being the center of attention lol.) Well this graduation to date has been our most eventful and interesting one but I suppose who knows what the future holds either, through this we have learned that you never know what to expect!
