Happy 15th Birthday Miss Elleisha

June 12, 2018
Our Ellie is growing up...
Saydee kept busy making Ellie her own mini cupcakes for her sister's b-day (filling them with candy and little pieces of broken up Doritos, so funny) it kept her busy while I continued to pack up the house for the move so I was all for it. Saydee was so happy and proud of herself when Ellie got home, she spread her arms out wide in front of her mini cupcakes and said, "Happy Birthday Ellie!"
Ellie and her friend and our neighbor Emily wanted pics taken together before we moved so we went down the street to our favorite trail and bridge on the White River to take pics of the two gals.
Such cute besties!
Ellie who loves breakfast foods choose I-hop for her birthday family dinner so it was a nice easy fix to please all.
Ellie's birthday landed on a crazy busy week for our family. We had a high graduation party at our place for Jarom and his buddy Layton on Sunday afternoon into evening (one last hurrah' at our old home) then followed seminary graduation, Ellie's birthday was Monday and we had to be completely move out of our home by Thursday so we moved Wed and Thursday not to forget Jarom's graduation Friday and Father's day Sunday. We are still in the chaos of finding and moving our belongings into our new place but we survived last week...I'm pretty sure we survived off of lack of sleep fumes but hey we managed and are off to a Jackson Family Reunion this weekend. The kids are still commuting back to Sumner for school through the end of the week, it will be much nicer when school is out for the summer! Needless to say Ellie is 15 now and can get her learners permit for driving :) she is a sweet young lady who loves to laugh and have fun with her family, many friends and admirers. Ellie is creative and enjoys beautifying others and her surroundings. Ellie is excited to go to a new school for her sophomore year in high school this fall but a bit sad she missed the opportunity to try out for cheer with her friends from her new school to be involved. She will figure something out I'm sure, she says she's not much into any sports so maybe a club of some sort or some dance, cheer or tumbling classes outside of school. Happy 15th year of life Ellie, we love you.

Honoring Our Hero's...

Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday May 28th, 2017
It's always nice to go visit Grandpa Glen at the Tahoma National Cemetery over Memorial Day Weekend to remember him and the many hero's that rest there, it's such a beautiful cemetery and remembering place for our veterans and their loving spouses.
Grandpa Glen's Resting Place with the guys.
Grandma Donna's Headstone and the gals.
The kids googled all of the headstone logos to see all of the different religions, it was interesting to see how many there were.
Happy Memorial Day.

Celebrating the Ones who Make me a Mother

Sunday Mother's Day 2017
Celebrating our moms, their moms and theirs...the many generations of amazing mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, wives and women that make us who we are today and furthermore the even more amazing children who teach us on a daily basis and have given us the prized title of "mother and mom."
With our church ward meeting at the 9 am mark this year, breakfast in bed wouldn't be doable for the kids Mother's Day plans so when Matt asked me for suggestions on what the guys could do for the mom's for Mother's Day dinner (with a bbq out of the question due to RAIN in the forcast) I suggested a yummy breakfast for dinner- which is exactly what they did and my oh my, was it a hit in the delic' department!!
The breakfast with all the works and toppings for Belgium waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs and fruit galore, not to forget the juice and chocolate milk!
Dinner was a show pleaser for everyone!
These pictures are actually making me hungry for a good hearty breakfast all over again just looking at them! ...maybe I-Hop will be in our future plans? :)

Happy 43rd Matt

May 18, 2017
We celebrated Football Italian style for the 43rd b day of Matt this year, we had his parents over for dinner, games and cake on the actual day of being Thursday. Then Saturday evening, the adults went out to a steak dinner to Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue. Happy, happy Matt, love and hugs to the best!

Josh and Matt's last Pinewood Derby

May 11, 2017
Need we even tell you the obvious color of Josh's derby car this year? Orange is the color of this guy, it's EVERYTHING orange. (He wears orange every day, I'm pretty sure people probably think he wears the same outfit on a daily basis but he must have over 20 different orange t-shirts.) He loves the color not sure why he is so drawn to it but he is and it's great, enough said...So bitter/sweet with Josh being a Weblow this year and moving up to 11 year old scouts (at the end of the year) this was Josh's last get-go at the derby title. The Pinewood derby is such a fun and memorable event and activity for dad and cubs to work on together!
Josh's car did well this year, didn't place over all but did get a 1st place in one of his races. As always he won the best paint job car and received a special award.
Dad and Josh had fun with it and worked on the car a bit at home and mostly at Grandpa's shop in Auburn for the best tools and painting items!
