 Our Family Christmas Pictures 2013
(They have been down the side bar for awhile but we print out our blog each year for our journal so I didn't want to forget to add them to it...) Thank you Marianne, as always you did a great job with our pictures! It was a fun photo shoot, great memories at the tree farm~
Merry Christmas 2013 Everyone!  We love this time of the year with so many holiday traditions and a time to really ponder and reflect on the many blessings that our Savior Jesus Christ has blessed and continues to bless our family with.
Jarom (15) is a freshman in high school this year! He is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and enjoys his fantasy football team. Jarom is a computer techie who’s interests are in computer programming, technology and graphic design. Jarom also enjoys being on the wrestling team, running track, snowboarding, working on completing his Eagle for Scouts and looks forward to drivers ed in 2014! Jarom also took up the piano this year and according to his piano teacher he is progressing quite fast.
As the upper classman of middle school, BreAnna (13) is our 8th grader. Bre cheered this past fall for our local Valley Wolfpack and continues her passion of dancing with lyrical, jazz, hip hop and ballet. Bre is a confident, dependable, fun spirited teenager; she spent the last two years as president of her Beehive class at church and was even student of the month for her middle school last month. Bre is an all around teenage girl who loves spending time with her friends, make up, clothes and shoes.
Although to her parents she still seems too young to be in middle school, Ellie (11) is in the 6th grade this year. Ellie is a free spirited girl and a friend to all, she is super creative and enjoys all areas of the arts and crafts as well as doing hair. Ellie is compassionate, she loves to babysit and entertain little ones as well as to pet-sit. Ellie has fun with her tap and tumbling classes along with being a member of her activity day girls group through church. Ellie also enjoys swimming, taking pictures and playing games of all sorts.
Sporty Spencer (9) who in the 4th grade this year enjoys playing on sport teams of all kinds with his favorites being baseball and his flag football team that he is playing on right now. Spencer our future cop is the enforcer of our home who keeps us all in line! Spencer is a serious boy who excels in his academics at school and is at the top of his class. Spencer is also very artistic with his sketching, doodling and origami. Spencer is taking piano lessons for his third year and is a Bear in the cub scouts.
Josh (7) is in 1st grade this year. Josh is an independent thinker and doer, always up to creating, building or inventing something! Josh loves the outdoors with camping, fishing and all the dirt! He enjoys riding his bike, rollerblading and has also proven to be the dare devil of our home with more than one visit to the ER this past year. There is no stopping Josh, if he believes he can do something he will find a way. Josh is already an entrepreneur with various stands he put together and ran last summer in the front yard.
Brooklynne our youngest although only (4) she is growing too fast, in her eyes she is right up there with her older sisters. Brooke is sweet yet sassy and has the cutest loving personality! Brooke is in preschool two days each week for a few hours where she also takes gymnastics. Brooklynne has a huge imagination, she loves to sing and dance (she also takes a tot hop/ballet class) she enjoys playing and pretending that she is either acting, performing, having important conversations on old cell phones that aren’t in service, being a mommy to her dolls, listening to or making up stories, pretending to be a teacher or putting on her mom and sisters high heels to walk around in.
This past year we as parents (Matt and Carla) have managed to keep busy, always up to something as we continue to raise and provide for our children as they truly teach us more than we can ever teach them!  Matt continues as a business owner of World CNG alternative fueling systems/conversions but has currently branched off flipping homes in the real estate business which keeps him busy, our boys have also enjoyed getting their hands involved during the summer months with dad. Matt also served as a sunbeam team-teacher for the three year old children each Sunday at church for most of the year and was recently released and called in with the youth as one of our varsity scout leaders which he is excited about since Jarom is in his group. Matt continues to be a big time sports fan with his football teams the Seahawks and Huskies as well as the biggest fan and supporter of his kids with their various sports, concerts and recitals. Carla is serving as the ward primary president at church with her fourth year in with the primary children and enjoys the kiddos as well as heading up the ward fall festival and sacrament primary program with her presidency. As always, Carla enjoys dabbling in many various areas of creativity i.e. baking, blogging, party planning and design (when she’s not acting as the designated chauffer for the kids.) Both parents enjoy our time together and the time we are blessed to spend as a family having fun and supporting each other with our various talents and interests.

We want to thank you and your families for all that you have done and do for our family and the wonderful people you are and the examples you are to us! You have all touched our lives in numerous various ways and we want to express our love, appreciation and gratitude, we are truly blessed…
Wishing you all a Wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to follow! May we all find happiness this season and throughout the new year in finding the gifts that we can give back from within and through our Savior Jesus Christ~

Love,
The Jacksons
Matt & Carla, Jarom, Bre, Ellie, Spencer, Josh and Brooklynne

The Snow Has Arrived...

Decemebr 12, 2013
We had our first snow of the season here later Monday evening. We were up the hill in Bonney Lake around 9 pm Monday night and it started snowing up there only it took longer to reach our valley so we woke up to a light snow covering this morning being Tuesday.  I was one of the first to leave tire tracks down our street being early to take Jarom to seminary. It wasn't much and didn't stick around too long but it was better than not a flake at all like last year...this is a good sign for the kids for sure, we will take it! Bring on the Winter Wonderland, we are ready for a white Christmas! ...As long as we don't have to drive in the snow too far~
