Well Ellie is officially 19, it's been a busy time for her as she is planning and prepping and preparing to serve her mission. It doesn't help that she met a guy in the mix right before she leaves, it has helped confirm that breaking things off with her past boyfriend was a good thing as her new guy friend (Nate) is a member of our church but odd timing as they seem to click in many ways (and Matt even likes this one lol...that's kinda' a rare occurrence around here) and now she will be off to serve The Lord and on his errands for 18 months...everything happens for a reason though. Faith, slow and steady wins the race! We went to Daniles Brolier on Ellie's actual bday (for Ellie's Med Rare Steak) and then had a family party Sunday with games, food, cake and presents...all her mission clothes, luggage and supplies for the B-day Gal this year :)
