Joshs' new "thing" is to help himself to one or a few of the baby tangerines that we have up on the counter sitting in the fruit bowl. I'm not quite sure yet if he really enjoys to eat them for their "sweetness" or if it's because he can be TOTALLY INDEPENDENT in this little snack? He loves to peel them all by his little self and then separate the slices but before he eats his snack of choice, he will gather the peels and put them into the trash before he sits himself back up to the table to enjoy his tangerines. He is such a cute little kid, it's so much fun as a mom to see and experience first hand the changes and growth that your children go through, especially as their independence shines through!

Too cute! It's all these little steps towards being ever more independent that make me a little bit sad that all the kids are growing up faster than i'd like!
